Krakow, Poland. This is an interesting city. We got going early again this morning and went to the Schindler museum.
I did not take any pictures inside because a single picture would no really communicate anything about this museum. I needs to be taken in its entirety. Enough said about that.
Downtown Krakow is much like any other modern European city, which surprised me. There is quite a bit of renovation going on (including our hotel). We walked to the main square, had cold drinks as the temperature hit the hundreds again.
Even though it was hot, it did not stop the musicians and the horse carts from working. We stopped into a small restaurant for lunch (polish sausage of course) and shortly thereafter we were just too hot to go on so we walked back to the car and fired up the A/C.
An hour later we are in Katowice. It is a smaller town close to Auschwitz. We have a tour scheduled for 08:00 so we moved closer. It was also nice to get out of the city center as parking is really an issue.
